Getting Started…

Well here we go… Now it is time to start getting my plan in place for the 4 month Hynes Fitness Challenge. Here is overview of what I need to figure out:

  • Diet:  This will be crucial, I need phase out all those fatty foods that I like so much, such as cheese, pasta, etc.
  • Cardio: I have not done my cardio for quite some time so this is also very important as I need to burn off this winter coat. I am planning on starting up at  Cappy’s Boxing gym 1 time per week, and then mixing in 2-3 days of running or rope work.
  • Training: My goals are really to focus on my abs this year, so I’ll be training those 2 times a week, and also I need to focus on my shoulders. In addition to that, I want to incorporate some power movements as well as some plyometrics.
  • Supplements: I am going to start off by taking the following: Creatine, Vitamin D, Multi Vitamin, Flax Oil, and then pre-workout my favorite, Super Pump.

 

That’s a general overview, but I will need to put this complete plan in a calendar so that I know which days I will be doing what so that I can stay on point. Then all I need to do is… DO IT!
